Sri Talla Sambha Shiva Rao is a great devotee of Lord Shiva. He has taken Lingadharana along with his family from Kedharnadth Peetadhipathi. He spends all his time in Shivaradhana, Shivadhyanam and Shiva namasmaranam. He has built Shivalayam in Gangavaram(his home town) and made pratistha of Lord Gangadhara along with Parvathi. In Addategala mandal also he made pratistha of Sri Vana Durga Devi along with Sri Visweswara Swamy.         Sri Sambha Shiva Rao has a leading hand in performing Awarana poojas to Manikyamba Ammavaru on every Pournami and Archanas to Sri Bheemeswara Swamy on every masa Shivaratri from the past 10 years along with other devotees .         He also published a book on Bheemeswara Sandarsanam which gives a lot of information about Shivalayas. This is the main source for Bheema Sabha in Draksharamam. Adivarapu Peeta Sri Balayogi Maharaj and Shiva Sri Gampala Someswara Rao helped Sambha Shiva Rao to get this holy book published, its our pleasure to thank them, who helped so much and dosent want to be recognized.         Sri Sambha Shiva Rao is a Sri Chakra Parulu who performs Nitya Chakrarchana at his home with the blessings of his guru Sri Gutta Bulliraja Swamyji. The Shivasankalpa is to make Sambha Shiva to publish book on how to get Grahadhosha nivaranam by Bheemeswara Darshnam.

Draksharamam has got a devine history. It is the most important one of the Pancharamams and Trilinga Kshetrams. It`s the 12th shakti peetam. This is the place where Sathi Devi has jumped into Yogagni in the time of Daksha Yagam. She`s reborn as Parvathi to Himavanthu. Himavanthu wanted her daughter to get married to lord Shiva. So, he has taken Shiva Deeksha and performed penance for 14 years and got Shivanugraha in this place.
        Lord Vishnu has lost his Sudarshana Chakram at the time of Daksha Yagam. He has taken Shiva Deeksha, but was tested by Lord Shiva. Then he used his eyes for Shivarchana and became Kamalakshudu in this place. So, this place is very holy and has got devine powers. That’s the reason they say a small duty performed here is equall to a very big service.
        Whoever offers food or clothes to Lord Shiva devotees here can fulfill their desires. The people who perform Japam, Homam, Dhanam, Tapassu or Samadhi here gets immence boons from Lord Shiva. We get salvation if we pray here for a moment which is equal to penance of crores of years in Himalayas. Giving food to one Shiva devotee here is equal to feeding crores of Brahmins in Kasi.
        That’s the reason in the name of Maha shivaratri Committee with the helping hand of devotees, free food is being served to whoever comes here for Lord Shiva`s darshan.
